Carlos Chan

Carlos Chan has been a Specialist in Chinese Medicine for twenty years and holds academic degrees from three Chinese universities. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in partnership with the Lisbon School of Chinese Medicine. He later earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy with a focus on integrative oncology at China Pharmaceutical University (Zhongguo Yaoke Daxue) in Nanjing, and a PhD in Fundamental Theories of Chinese Medicine applied to colorectal cancer treatment and network pharmacology at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Carlos Chan practices traditional Japanese acupuncture, Chinese herbal prescription and materia medica, therapeutic bodywork, dietetics, and lifestyle regulation according to East Asian medical principles. He is also an instructor of Taijiquan and Qigong.
